And We Want You to Join Us

NOTICE: This is a private event. We’re only inviting a select group of top-tier marketing and copywriting experts – including a few industry legends — and seats are strictly limited…

Date: Monday 14th – Thursday 17th September, 2026
Location: Virginia Park Lodge, County Cavan, Ireland
Places available: 20 5*

*Up to date as at 8th April, 2026

Let me ask you a question…

What would you do if you had to start over?

I mean from scratch.

Because, on September 14th, we’re bringing together some of the best copywriters, marketers, and business owners in the world to answer that very question.

It’s a small, private event.

We only have room for 20 people at the table.

Though we haven’t publicised this event until today, three-quarters of those slots have already been filled, mostly by word of mouth amongst business owners.

We’re convening here, at a beautifully restored hunting lodge in the Irish countryside, not far outside of Dublin…

Perhaps you already know some of the other guests you’ll see there.

(If you’re a high-level copywriter or you’re a key player at a big direct response business… or both… I bet you’ll know more than a few.)

In fact, when we held an event just like this at Bill Bonner’s French countryside chateau last year…

…many of the biggest names around flew in to join us.

People like Mike Palmer, who’s arguably the best financial copywriter of the last 20 years.

Or Mark Ford, who has launched dozens of businesses and helped make Agora the world’s leading direct response business.

Or Matt Insley, Publisher of Paradigm Press… Kelly Brown, Copy Chief at Stansberry Research… and Brett Aitken, Publisher at Marketwise…

We even had Rory Sutherland, Vice Chairman at Ogilvy and Mather, call in for an amazing afternoon meeting…

Plus, an elite list of other business owners and high-level copywriters from across the financial, health, and e-commerce industries.

We don’t need to name all of them here, especially because this year’s guest list is looking – if it’s possible – even better.

My point is, when you claim a seat at the table, come September, I can promise you that you’ll be surrounded by some of the best and brightest in our industry.

You’ll meet and get to talk strategy with business owners from the USA, Britain, Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, France, and Japan…

You’ll rub shoulders with true ‘copy royalty’ and other veteran insiders who’ve been the beating heart of this industry for 50 years…

We’ve even invited a special guest, a former Disney, Netflix, Universal, and Sky creative insider who knows more about making video work online than almost anyone else we know.

(He’s helped build a YouTube channel with 15 million subscribers… and he’s happy to show you how he did it… more on that in a second.)

Put simply, this is a powerful group of insiders from the very top of our industry.

The question is…

Put simply…

We’ve invited some of the biggest players in the direct-response copywriting world to join us for this exclusive three-day event.

If you can be there, this is not something you should miss.

There are only a handful of places remaining.

This is, after all, an 18th-century hunting lodge – there are literally “only so many seats at the table!”.

And, this also bears repeating, roughly three-quarters of them have been taken, just by word of mouth.

We’d still like to add you to that list before the last of the open slots fill up.

Why you? Why now? And why the urgency?

Without a doubt, you’re seeing what we’re seeing.

And you’ve experienced the same rapid shift in the foundation of our business. The rise of AI, both good and bad. The increasingly unpredictable markets and volatile economy. Both the indispensable reach and rising bureaucracy of networks like YouTube and Facebook.

This isn’t the business many of us started out in, either decades or even just a few short years ago. What’s old doesn’t always work like it once did. And what’s new can be overwhelming.

That’s why we’re calling this event…

Our theme is simple:

What would it take to make a multi-million-dollar business successful if you were starting out, right now – today – from the beginning?

Everyone will have a different answer.

But believe me, you’ll want to pay close attention to what every single one of your fellow guests has to say. You might want to ask questions, compare notes, or share what you’ve discovered, too.

And you’ll be surrounded by exactly the right people to do that with. Insiders like you, who’ve been there, done it, and – in a few cases – helped generate hundreds of millions of dollars in the process.

Together, we’ll tackle every big challenge you can think of, like:

– How do you reliably scale on platforms like YouTube and Facebook — without getting shut down every ten minutes?

– How do you deploy AI so that it adds to your bottom line instead of becoming a giant workplace distraction?

– How do you create new products and revenue streams that will take advantage of the new channels, new tools, and new trends in 2026?

– How do you use video, podcasts, and community-building tools to make your business stronger and more stable?

– How do you find and recruit the best copywriting talent in the world, and what does that mean in this new age of AI?

Of course, it’s not all work and no play.

We’ll be in Ireland, so you can expect plenty of “craic,” as the locals call it.

In fact, it’s almost impossible not to have a good time on the Emerald Isle.

We’ll explore the picaresque grounds of Virginia Park… stumble into the local village to enjoy a pint or two of Guinness… and we can’t rule out a little Irish dancing after hours back at the lodge.

In truth, it’s often in these most relaxed moments that you find the real creativity and opportunity unfold… whether it’s dreaming up a new project over a dinner or striking a deal as you wander the grounds with a wee dram of whiskey in your glass.

And frankly, it’s by being in these situations that you’re able to stay ahead of the game.

I’m reaching out to you today because I’ve got reason to believe you might be one of those few who understand how crucial that is.

It’s why I’d like to invite you – and any colleagues you think fit the same elevated profile – to a special three-day mastermind in September.

It’s not virtual on Zoom, or anything rushed together like that…

It’s not a course you download or get by email.

And it’s not a bums-on-seats conference that’s barely more meaningful than an away day out of the office.

This is the real thing… a private, luxurious, and – we hope – extremely productive event, to be held at Virginia Park Lodge in Ireland.

That’s why space is limited.

And that’s why we’re only talking about inviting the best of the best – people who, like me, help generate million-dollar ideas for some of the most successful direct response businesses in the world.

My name, by the way, is Nick O’Connor.

I started my career as a copywriter at Bill Bonner’s business in London.

In fact, I was eventually asked to run that business – which helped me build a deep network of world-class copywriters, marketers, and business owners…

As well as traders, hedge fund managers, stockbrokers, and politicians. (In fact, the last deal I made, just days before the lockdown in 2020, was to hire Nigel Farage. I’ll save the rest of that story for the pub.)

I’m now a freelance copywriter. In the past five years, I’ve written for the likes of Stansberry Research, Paradigm Press, InvestorPlace, Banyan Hill, and Port Phillip Publishing (Agora’s Australian business).

But I also live a secret double life…

I don’t spend all of my time writing. Now and then, I like to use my network to bring small groups of business owners and copywriters together.

For instance, in 2023, my friend (and fellow copywriter/author/publisher/man-about-town) Glenn Fisher and I hired out the crypt of an ancient church in London to host Britain’s first copywriting “festival”.

And then in 2025, Glenn and I partnered up with our old friend – and legendary copywriter – John Forde to host the small, exclusive mastermind I mentioned at Bill Bonner’s chateau in Normandy.

In other words,  when I can find the time, I like to try and connect smart people with other smart people to share ideas… in the most unique (and often unusual) setting I can think of.

Which brings me to Virginia Lodge, in Ireland, on September 14th – 17th.

But here’s the challenge…

This invitation is the first time Glenn, John, and I are officially opening the doors to this year’s event…

However, based on their experience last year, people who came along have already reserved multiple spaces for themselves and their key colleagues.

The fact of the matter is, of the 20 places we have available at the lodge…

Already, only 5 places remain.

You still have a chance to grab one, but you’ll have to be quick.

And you’ll have to qualify to join us.

And yes, I did say “qualify.”

Specifically, if you want to be there for this exclusive event… and, keep in mind, some of the most successful people in the industry will be there…

You’ll need to meet three specific criteria.

If you qualify, and I hope you do…

Then the invitation I’m extending to you today will almost certainly transform your career, your business, and even your life.

I know that sounds like a tall claim.

But I’m confident in making it — not only because of what happened last year — but because I know this year we’re going to be exploring…

  • What our industry insiders really think about where we are now and what radical changes lie ahead…
  • How the very best copywriters and marketers plan to use AI, new funnels, new formats, and other secret strategies…
  • And how the rules for building a $100 million business… or even a $1 billion business… need to be redefined.

To be clear: this isn’t an invitation to a copywriting “conference,” where you’ll be sitting behind a desk watching endless presentations.

This is much more intimate and exclusive.

It’s a one-time-only opportunity to spend three days with the very best our industry has to offer, in an extraordinary, historic Irish lodge, for a private “meeting of minds.”

Who, exactly?

Well, I’m not going to sit here and drop names. At least, I’m not going to tell you every single person who’ll be in the room with us. Frankly, I think that would be a little crass… especially since many of the insiders joining us generally don’t make public appearances.

But I can give you one name, just to whet your appetite…

This year, we’ve asked Anthony Smith, creative insider for the likes of Universal, Disney, and Netflix, and the YouTube marketing genius behind the phenomenal online success of Stephen Barlett’s Diary of a CEO podcast, to fly to Ireland and spend time with us.

That’s along with other copywriters and executives from Agora and Marketwise (the two biggest fin-pub juggernauts with millions of paid and free subscribers).

And that’s just for starters. Over three days this September, you’ll hear about the ideas they’re developing… the techniques they’re using to devise new campaigns… and the insights and secrets that have made them successful.

This isn’t a “we talk, you listen” event.

There won’t be multi-hour lectures or thousands of PowerPoint slides to watch while you squirm in your seat, fighting to digest your lunch.

Quite the opposite.

It’s your chance to share the specific challenges your own business is facing… and leverage the elite expertise in the room to help solve them.

  • Got a ‘problem product’ you can’t sell? Share it with the room, and we’ll figure out what you can try next.
  • Got a campaign that’s underperforming? We’ll come up with multiple ideas you can go away and test to make it work.
  • Got a critical piece of copy you want to improve? We’ll review and improve it as a group.

In fact, I can make a promise I am convinced we’ll deliver on:

“Spend three days with us, and you WILL walk away with a boatload of ideas you can test right away.”

Honestly, I think at least one of them will be worth more than a million dollars — I’m in the process of testing one thing Rory Sutherland said at our last get-together that I’m sure it’ll be a game-changer.

When you join us in September, you’ll be able to debate and discuss your next promotion…

You’ll be able to ask for advice and input on your next big marketing effort…

And you’ll get input and guidance on what you’re doing right, and what you need to change.

Frankly, if you’re serious about copywriting… or you run a business that’s ‘copy critical’… you need to be there.

If, of course, you’ve got the right stuff to join us. Which raises my next question…

When I say this is going to be a small, intimate event… I’m not kidding.

As I said, there are only going to be roughly 20 people joining us at Virginia Park Lodge this year. And just a few remain.

Why the strict limit?

Well, for one, there are only so many luxury bedrooms at the lodge. (After that, I’m told there are ‘Shepherd’s Huts’ in the grounds… but that’s another story.)

There are also only so many places at the dinner table… and only so many seats in the beautiful and ornate rooms that date back to the 18th century, when the Earl of Bective — at the time, one of the richest men in Ireland — first built the lodge.

I’ll repeat: 15 of those places are already gone.

They’ve been spoken for by our closest industry insiders and those who attended last year’s event.

It means, if you manage to secure one of the remaining slots, you’ll be rubbing elbows with some very smart people.

That’s why it’s so important – for you, for us, and for our other guests – that we make absolutely sure we get the right type of people to fill those remaining slots.

Now, we happen to know lots of others in our industry who would make great additions to the group. But we also know there are lots of “best of the best” folks out there we don’t know.

Which is why, while we still have a handful of spaces, we’re opening our doors to that wider audience.

In return, we ask that you meet these three criteria:

  • You must be actively writing copy OR working with copywriters, right now. If you’ve just discovered copywriting and you’re just getting started – that’s fantastic, but this isn’t for you. I’d suggest at least a year in the industry, whether as a freelancer or in-house. OR you could be working closely with copywriters, as a Publisher, Managing Director, or Business owner.
  • You must be willing not just to listen, but to contribute – to share your results, to ask questions, make suggestions, take part in debates. I’ll say it again: this isn’t a ‘conference’… it’s a meeting of minds. We’re here to solve problems, come up with breakthroughs, and – frankly – have fun doing it.
  • You must be free to spend all three days with us. This is going to be one of the most unique experiences of your life – we want you there with us. No disappearing off on work calls in the middle of a debate. No staying at a hotel down the road. No sleeping until midday because you had one too many glasses of wine.

If you meet those simple criteria…

Then consider this your official invitation to join us at Virginia Park Lodge in September.

I’ll explain what you need to do to confirm your place in just a second.

But first, let’s take a look – loosely – at what we’ll be covering…

Mastering Modern Media: Secrets of a 15 Million YouTube Channel

The modern advertising landscape is changing and leaving many so-called “experts” behind, baffled by a world they don’t understand. Finding ways to effectively share your messaging on social media and video platforms like YouTube seems impossible — but having helped the likes of Universal, Netflix, and Disney master the art of modern media, Anthony Smith will be sharing his secrets with you, giving personal advice on how to game the algorithms.

Million Dollar Moonshots: Radical Tests For 2026

It’s a trap all successful businesses fall into… the more successful you are, the less creative you become. It’s easy to see why. You hire more ‘process’ people who make things run smoothly… but make it harder to innovate, test, and take risks. This session is our antidote to that. We’re going to share the biggest ‘high risk, high reward’ ideas around right now – tests that might not come off… but will change everything if they do.

How To Replace Your Marketing Team – With An Agent

We’ve asked one of the world’s best ‘Martech’ insiders to join us – and take us on a tour of what AI and agentic technology are going to be capable of very soon. Imagine a world where you can create a piece of copy in the morning and have it reviewed, approved, produced, and broadcast just hours later, without any production staff. It’s possible. You’ll see how – and what you need to do to prepare.

High-Level Copy Reviews: Put Your Copy In Front of Legendary Writers

One of the big takeaways from last year’s event is… we want to spend more time reviewing copy. It makes sense. Good feedback is hard to come by. If you’re running a copy team – or your own business – you’ll know this. Who do you turn to for good creative feedback? Your junior staff? That rarely works. So… while you’re surrounded by your peers at the top of the industry… you’ll have the chance to get feedback, input, and suggestions – from insiders who’ve overseen billions of dollars in sales.

Training, Recruiting, and Growing Your Team (in the Age of AI)

We all know that acquiring and developing new talent is critical to growing your business. And for the past 18 months, Glenn and I have been building a new way to train writers for Marketwise, which has already begun to yield great results. We’ll talk you through it… reveal what we’ve learnt… and show you how to bring it to your own business.

One-On-One Creative Reviews with Anthony Smith

Anthony has (very kindly) agreed to do personalised, one-on-one reviews with each business. Want to launch a podcast? Make YouTube work? Level up your video production? Whatever your challenge is… you’ll have the chance to work directly with Anthony on it.

The Hidden Power of Podcasting, with Glenn Fisher

Everyone has a podcast these days, but so few businesses understand how to leverage the format to not only advance sales but also open doors, build connections, and reach new customers. In this session, Glenn will reveal how it’s possible to maximise the leverage of a podcast — even with a tiny audience.

And on top of that… there are a hundred other informal ways you’ll be able to talk copy, make new connections and enjoy yourself, including cocktails… live music… fine dining… and perhaps even an adventure into the Irish night.

So, the only question that remains is…

Well, it’s not going to be cheap.

But then… you wouldn’t expect it to be, would you?

This is a genuinely exclusive gathering of the world’s best copy and marketing talent.

It’s in a setting that… quite frankly… most people would never dream of being able to visit.

You’ll walk away with at least one $1 million idea you can test. Maybe more.

First and foremost, there are only so many bedrooms at the lodge. (Each one comes with its own bathroom and a view out over the grounds.)

As I said, most of the 20 places we’re offering have been taken. There are only 5 places available. We’ll allocate those places on a first-come, first-served basis.

And to be clear, your ticket includes:

Travel to and from Virginia Park Lodge, from Dublin

___

Three nights’ accommodation (Monday 14th, Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th September)

___

All food and drink for the entire time you’re at the lodge

___

Entertainment and the odd adventure out into the Irish countryside

___

All talks, debates, and presentations

In other words, you’ll be well looked after for your entire stay.

And you’ll leave with a TON of new ideas and connections in the industry.

You should walk through the doors of Virginia Park Lodge FULLY EXPECTING to leave with an idea worth seven figures.

Perhaps more than one.

That’s our goal.

Given that we sold out last year’s event, I’m sure we could charge $25,000 per ticket here and get a great response.

In fact, when I told a hedge fund manager and fin-pub owner here in London about our plans, he instantly said: “You must be charging twenty-odd grand for something like that.”

Maybe we should.

But we’re not.

Your place at Virginia Park Lodge costs $10,000.

That’s still not exactly ‘frock money’, I know.

But I’d just remind you of two things:

  • It’s our goal to make sure you walk away with at least a 100x return on your investment. (I actually think that’s a conservative goal, but there you go.)
  • This is a ONE TIME ONLY invitation. We won’t be sending you countless emails asking you to come, or announcing some “surprise” discount. This event will sell out. So, if you ever wanted to visit Ireland and stay in an eighteenth-century lodge… in the company of the world’s best copywriters… this is it.

How do you grab your place?

That’s simple.

Just email us at feedback@thefixcopywriting.com.

Tell us who you are, and how many places you’d like (if you want to bring or send team members).

We’ll reply right away, confirm your place, and let you know how to pay. You’ll have the right to cancel your place and get a full refund until 14 days before the event itself.

Just one word of warning:

You’re not the only person receiving this invitation. And, as I write, there are only a handful of places available. So, please let us know you’re coming as soon as you can.

AT THE VERY LEAST: Email us today to let us know you’re interested. We can give you more information, should you need it. And we’ll try to make sure you don’t miss out.

But we need to hear back from you ASAP.

Like, right now. Before you forget… or the places all get snapped up.

I’m hoping that if I’ve done my job right and if I’m talking to the right person, you’ll already realise the opportunity here.

Still, I’ve been thinking about what questions you might have, and here’s what you might be wondering:

about what questions you might have, and here’s what you might be wondering:

Q. I’m a publisher/business owner…is this exclusive to copywriters?

No. And as you’re reading this, you probably realise how important effective copy is for any business when it comes to making sales. This event is for copywriters, marketers, and business owners to come together and discuss how we’ll make more sales in the future… using a combination of good copywriting and all the other new and existing tools we have available. If you want to understand how to better succeed in business in the coming decades, you’ll be welcome at this event.

Q. Is this only for financial copywriters and financial businesses?

Not at all. Though we have a natural experience in that niche, we also have experience working in health… in property… in gambling… we’ve even been hired to sell strands of Elvis’ hair. Over our careers, we’ve worked for companies that use all different methods of marketing, from direct response to OOH billboards to social media influencing. The event is interested in issues greater than just the content of what we’re selling… it’s interested in the techniques we use to sell… the different media and different techniques available to us. So, whatever niche you work in, you’ll find value here.

Q. Will there be a replay or recording of the event available after?

No. This is in-person only. There will be no other way to get access to the insight shared over these few days. And because this is interactive, all the advice will be tailored to the people and specific businesses who are in attendance.

Q. Can I ask questions specific to my business and my circumstances?

Yes. You’ll be encouraged to be as specific as you can about the businesses you own or work for, and we’ll make time to focus on solving some of the specific challenges you might be facing. In fact, this is one of the only ways you’d ever get so many experienced and qualified copywriters and marketing professionals focusing on your challenges at the same time. When was the last time you had this many industry experts all brainstorming about your business?

Q. I can only attend one of the days; is it still worth coming?

The fact is, even one session has the potential to change your career and business. But still, I would encourage you to only come if you’re able to attend for the full duration so that you’re able to get the most out of the experience. Plus, as it is strictly limited, it wouldn’t be fair to take the place of someone who wants to attend every session.

Q. Do I need to bring my own Guinness?

Certainly not. We’ll have more than enough.

What else?

Maybe there’s something I’ve not covered here, and that’s fair enough.

You can use that email address to get in touch and ask a question—I don’t mind.

In fact, I encourage it because we want to make sure the people who attend this event are not only the right people, but we also want to make sure you get the most you can out of it.

I’m certain you will.

The brains we’ve already organised to be in the building—and guests who’ve already snatched a ticket—will make sure of that.

Here it is again.

I know what comes out of this event will impact the advertising and marketing industry for years to come.

People are already talking about it, wishing they’d been there, and it’s not even happened yet.

But this is your chance—a rare chance—to be there when it does happen, to influence the course of copywriting and marketing for years to come.

Will you join us?

I hope so.

Indeed, this is the moment to email us at feedback@thefixcopywriting,com

Remember, there are only 20 places and most of those have already been taken by some of the world’s smartest thinkers…

So, if you want to secure a seat at the table, you do need to act decisively.

I hope you do… and I hope to see you at the lodge in September. But either way, I want to thank you for your time in reading this invitation.

Best,

Nick O’Connor
