Industry Insight #8: James Cross on how to get noticed by creative directors
As the creative director at BBC Creative, James Cross was behind some of the biggest BBC ad campaigns of the last few years. More recently, along with his creative partner Tim Jones, he founded Meanwhile, a Manchester-based creative agency that’s already attracting some huge clients.
James invited me over to their office in Salford’s MediaCity to chat and we had a great discussion about copywriting, creativity, and how junior or freelance copywriters can better get their work noticed by creative directors like James (including some great tips on what NOT to do).
