Masterclass #10: Part 1: Writing for video: Mastering the subtle differences between writing for the page and the camera

Lights. Camera. Action!

In a world where more and more sales material is presented in video format, as copywriters, it’s important we understand the subtle differences that exist between writing for the page and writing for the camera.

It’s why, in this latest masterclass (the first part in what will be another short mini-series), Nick begins to explore what it means to write for video and why it’s a good skill to add to your resume as a copywriter.

Even if you’ve never written for video before, picking up the skills you learn in these masterclass sessions might give you the confidence to suggest the idea to a client and provide them with a whole new way of selling their product or service.

We hope you enjoy the episode and, as ever, please do like it if you do and share your biggest takeaway in the comments below.

Also, as this is the first in the series, feel free to post any questions you have about writing for video in the comments too. We’ll pick them up and answer them in a future part of the series.

Best,
Glenn
