A reader wrote in asking for some advice on how to write a crowdfunding page.

The specific reason they’re writing a page is to raise money for their cat, which is ill and needs expensive treatment.

But despite the niche starting point, our discussion covers a broad range of issues when it comes to writing for charities and personal causes and will hopefully give you some food for thought if you’re ever tasked with writing something in that space.
