Last week, I sat down with Bill Bonner to talk about copywriting.

If you know who Bill is, and the impact he’s had on the direct response copywriting world over the past 50 odd years…

…you’re probably already excited to hear what he has to say.

If you aren’t familiar – here’s the quick backstory. Bill founded what came to become known as “The Agora Companies” back in the late 70s.

Since then, his businesses have been at the cutting edge of what I’d call “Long Form Big Idea Marketing” (pithy, I know).

There’s a whole style and approach that’s distinct to these businesses.

I wanted to ask Bill how and why it came about. So I nagged him until he found 45 minutes in his schedule to talk to me.

We covered a lot… from the “origin story” of the Agora style to the ideas Bill would be pursuing if he was starting out as a copywriter today.
