In the direct response world, Mark Ford is a certified legend.

He also happens to be a good friend of The Fix and is one of my first mentors, having taught me a lot of what I know about copywriting.

We thought it was about time we got him on the show. But as there are so many interviews with Mark out there in the copywriting world and as they all tend to go in the same direction, I wanted to do something a little different.

So, we start not from copywriting and finance and all that business stuff, but from poetry. I start by exploring Mark’s artistic influences and how they impacted his copywriting career.
