“I’ve got a bone to pick with capitalism, and a few to break.”

Those are the words of Dennis Lyxzén, the frontman of the excellent Swedish hardcore punk band, Refused.

But in this latest episode of The Fix, Nick makes this sentiment a little more specific.

Imagine Nick there on stage, and just as Lyxzén would be, Nick’s swinging the microphone around like a whip, kicking a leg in the air, leaning into the crowd, and screaming:

“I’ve got a bone to pick with TGI Friday’s, and a few to break.”

Yes. This week, we go deep on the difference between potato wedges and potato skins, we bemoan the state of fast food, and, oh yeah, we explain what the hell all this has to do with copywriting.

Surprisingly, there’s a lot to learn from Nick’s somber birthday meal.
